איבעיא להו פחות משתות לרבנן לאלתר הויא מחילה או בכדי שיראה לתגר או לקרובו ואם תמצי לומר בכדי שיראה לתגר או לקרובו מאי איכא בין שתות לפחות משתות

The scholars propounded; On the view of the Rabbis, does [an overcharge of] less than a sixth immediately constitute renunciation, or only when he has had time to shew [the purchase] to a merchant or relative?<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' E.g., if eleven ma'ahs was paid for an article worth ten, is the vendee regarded as having there and then renounced the eleventh ma'ah, and so, even if he immediately demands its return, he has no redress; or perhaps it is accounted renunciation only if sufficient time elapsed to shew it to a merchant, but before that he can claim a refund?
